Deer watching

Our weather has been so nice, that we have been able to do some winter hiking at Martin Nature Park. We were able to watch a family of deer, complete with a new fawn, for a really long time while we were there.

Christmas!

Eli, otherwise known as "baby monster" by Hayden and Harper.

We had so much fun with our cousins on Christmas Eve at the farm. It was crazy this year with 4 kids under the age of four, and opening presents was complete chaos!

Our tree

I am trying to get caught up on my posts for this month and realized I haven't posted any of our Christmas decorations. Hayden helped me decorate the house this year, and so we had decorations everywhere! It has been so much fun, but it is taking me a lot longer to get it all put away.

Christmas cooking!

Christmas cookies

Hayden's cookies, a santa, tree, and a reindeer.

For every candy that went on our house, I think 2 went in his tummy! We had so much fun this year getting ready for Christmas!

More photo sessions

fall/winter photo shoots

I had so much fun taking pictures of the Morgans this fall! Baby "R" was a great sport even with all of the wind and chilly weather.

weekend hiking

We spent our Saturday morning hiking this weekend. There are some great trails in Norman not too far from our house. Hayden found a lot of crab apples, threw rocks into the lake, and tried to make some of his own "new" trails.

Halloween 2011

Scooby Dooby Doo!

Look at that candy crazed face! This year was a lot more exciting trick or treating than last year. Hayden went up to each house and complimented the person who opened the door on their Halloween decorations. Like, "I love your black cat decoration!" He had a comment for every house, and it was hilarious.

Haunt the Zoo 2011

This year was our first time to haunt the zoo and probably our last! There were a zillion people there, and all packed in like sardines. If you are in the OKC area, the Arcadia Story book forest is definitely a better choice.

Redington family photo shoot!

It is so much fun taking pictures of friends and their family!! We had terrible conditions for our pictures in Tulsa. It was rainy, cold, and cloudy, but we still got some good pictures.

Fall festival

Last weekend was our church fall festival and trunk or treat. We decorated our trunk for the first time and handed out lots of candy. Hayden finally decided to be Tigger after his big cousin handed down a past costume. He has changed his mind this year about 5 times regarding his costume. He started out wanting to be Spider-man again, then wanted to be a black cat, then a werewolf, then finally Tigger. The costume I actually bought him was Scooby Doo. Maybe next week for Trick or Treat!

Fairview Tractor and Thrashing Bee

The gang.

Wade taking the kiddos into the field to run off some energy.

Aunt Nancy and Sam.

Zade watching the tractor parade.

Hayden checking out some of the classic cars.

We took a family trip to the farm to go to the tractor festival. We saw so many tractors in the parade! We also got to see old-fashioned blacksmithing , and spinning wool into thread. The best part was getting to see all of our cousins! Man I love the fall!

The Great State Fair of Oklahoma!!

We took a family trip to the fair yesterday morning on game day. Hayden wanted to take a picture with every race car in the car building. I was too busy playing and eating, and didn't take a lot of pictures. We walked inside of the virtual dinosaur, pet all of the animals in the petting zoo, and rode some rides.

End of summer vacation

The Gaylord Texan. This place is enormous!

Walking inside along the river.

This is the riverside cantina, one of the many restaurants inside the resort.

One of the 2 pools at the main hotel. Wade and I never ventured to the water park
since we were kiddo free.

We had so much fun on our weekend getaway to Grapevine, TX. This place has it all, restaurants, pools, water park, and a sports bar. You can even go out on Grapevine lake. It was our first trip to go on without the Hay-man! He had a great time with my parents at the farm and barely noticed we were gone. I don't know why I was so worried to leave him!
