I wish I loved apple pie!

Our apple tree is loaded with apples this year, but all of the apples on the low branches are being eaten by Ruby! I sat outside this evening and watched her jump up and eat 6 apples out of the tree. I wish I had video footage. But, hopefully some will survive her, and we will have some to eat late this summer.

3 year old pictures

I don't have 3 year old stats yet, because we don't go to our well child check until June, but Hayden unofficially weighs 34.5 lbs. He started pre-school 2 weeks ago and is loving it. He is starting to get himself dressed. He knows all of his letters and most of the letter sounds. He can count to eleventeen, which comes right after fifteen! He is learning so much and doing more and more every day! And, according to Miss Vera, his new pre-school teacher, we are doing way too much for him at home! So, we are trying to do better. He continues to be such a blessing in our lives.

Learning to fish

You would think from the look on his face in the last picture, that he really caught a fish! However, he was really just practicing in the front yard. We are getting ready for our annual Memorial Weekend trip to the farm for our family reunion, and it will be Hay's first time to go fishing. He is so excited!

Norman Touch a Truck was a huge hit!

Out of all the vehicles the kids could get inside, the helicopter had the longest line.

Hay and Wade with the crane.

This was our first year to go to the 5th annual Norman touch a truck. It was a blast! There were over 40 different vehicles from semi trucks to the Braum's truck, and even a trolly. The kids can touch, climb on, and get inside. They can even honk horns and do the sirens on the police cars. Our little guy got over stimulated really quick with all of the noise, but had a wonderful time. It is always the Saturday of Mother's day weekend, so put it on your calendar and come!!

Early morning fun!

This is definitely one of Hay's favorites of all the birthday presents. There is not a day that goes by since the birthday that he doesn't want to go outside and jump! He even ate dinner outside on the trampoline last evening. Tonight he somehow ended up jumping on the trampoline naked. I was inside cooking dinner at the time, so I am not sure how that happened.

3rd birthday weekend!

Friday night birthday dinner at In the Raw. Hay got chicken nuggets and french fries off of the kids menu and ate them with chop sticks.

Saturday morning birthday breakfast at Ozzie's Diner at the Norman airport. This is now a birthday tradition. It is so much fun to eat and watch the planes take off and land.

After breakfast we headed out to Main street to watch the 89er Day Parade. It was Hay's 1st parade and was so much fun.

After the parade we walked to Norman's May Fest in the park before heading home to nap before the big birthday party. You can barely tell that is Hay at the top of that slide.

Fun at the parade!

3rd birthday weekend continued.

Sweet Sam.

Cousins doing the party craft.

Wade and Eli hanging out.

Aunt Tara's cake put my cake from last weekend to shame and it was
delicious!

After a full day the kiddos were ready to read books with Pops before bed.
