Kitchen renovation part 2

So, all of the wallpaper is down and the walls are getting textured and then painted this week. Everything looks like a mess in this picture, but stay posted for the beautiful reveal later this week!! We took down the wallpaper ourselves, but decided to hire the girls who did the painting at the Gibby's house to do the texturing and painting.

Being a mommy is so glamerous!

Hayden wanted to be "outside" all weekend long in the chilly, windy, rain! So, we bundled up in our waterproof coats and played outside in the rain. Hayden was 17 months old on Oct. 1st. His new thing is really just talking more and more. He repeats everything, and is starting to put 2 words together on occasion. Happy fall everybody!!

The Last Weekend of Summer

Hayden and part of his class on our first school trip to the zoo!!

Hayden's teachers Miss Karisa and Miss Melanie.

It rained most of the morning while we were at the zoo, and I couldn't resist taking pictures of little Olivia and her unbrella.

After getting rained out of our class trip to the zoo, we went to the Gibby's and watched the OU game. During half time we met some of our friends at Mesta Park.

Cousins

Cousin Harper played with Hayden last evening while her parents went to the OU game. Hayden followed her around the house supervising as she played with all of his toys. Two, by the way, is much harder than one!!

Labor Day Weekend at the Farm

Hayden, Harper, and Zade on our morning walk to the Carmen Park.

Hayden stomping around in his new boots.

My beautiful niece, Harper, or "Harpie" as Hayden calls her.

Hayden and Harper talking about the big game before kick off.

We had a great time at the farm last weekend even with the disappointing loss. We got to spend lots of time with family and watched lots of football. What could be better than that?

Reeves Park

We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Reeves park by campus. There are so many neat climbing and learning toys to play on. Hayden loved the fire truck the most!

I want to swing, but I don't want to let go of my soccer ball.

This one is for grandma!!

Dear grandma,
I am finally starting to enjoy my horse puppet that you gave me for Christmas! I also love my new camo shorts, and I can't wait to see you next week.

Love,
Hayden
