Watching the Derby!

Hay and his favorite horse in his hand watched the Kentucky Derby today and loved it!

3rd birthday weekend!

Friday night birthday dinner at In the Raw. Hay got chicken nuggets and french fries off of the kids menu and ate them with chop sticks.

Saturday morning birthday breakfast at Ozzie's Diner at the Norman airport. This is now a birthday tradition. It is so much fun to eat and watch the planes take off and land.

After breakfast we headed out to Main street to watch the 89er Day Parade. It was Hay's 1st parade and was so much fun.

After the parade we walked to Norman's May Fest in the park before heading home to nap before the big birthday party. You can barely tell that is Hay at the top of that slide.

3rd birthday and Easter in Mustang

My first ever attempt at the birthday cake!

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday in Mustang combined with a 3rd birthday party for Hay.

The Easter egg hunt had to be indoors because of the heavy rain, but there were no complaints from the kiddos.

Farewell my sweet Hooper dog!!

Our sweet Hooper dog, and my first born son, passed away last Wednesday from complications from an intestinal obstruction. We are missing him like crazy at our house, including Ruby. He would have been with us 13 years this summer.

April showers and fun in the mud!

The side of our house gets so muddy after a good rain which we have thankfully had all week. We were outside gardening when the Hay-man disappeared. I was getting ready to go look for him when I heard "momma my shoes are stuck!" I don't know about little girls, but man do little boys love to play in the mud.

Weekend breakfast!

I love Saturday morning breakfast!! Wade decided he wanted cheese souffles out of the blue this morning, and the Hay wanted banana pancakes, so we had a feast! Delicious!!
