When we do rainy day play-doh, we don't mess around. Our entire kitchen table gets covered with miscellaneous tools and equipment.

Hay and Zade had so much fun in Zade's barn during our weekend visit. It was almost too windy to go outside, so we spent a lot of time playing in Pops's barn and in Zade's barn. Hay also had fun teaching his grandma, pops, great aunt Judy, and great uncle Darole how to play show and tell.

Best friends already.

One year ago our family lost Hooper dog, and this year we were finally ready for a new puppy.

Wade and I were opposed to a "little dog" for so long, but fell in love with this little guy. Now that he is house trained, and starting to learn his name, we are completely in love with him. He is the best addition to our family, and is already best friends with Ruby. This little dog isn't afraid of anything, and will even try to eat her food out of her bowl while she is growling at him and showing him her teeth.

We are not letting the cold weather keep us indoors this winter. It is amazing how far a kiddo will walk on his own with interesting things to look at.
