Who knew that at just 2 years old you are big enough to ride some rides at the fair. We went for our usual fair dinner of corn dog, calzone, and cinnamon roll, and let Hayden ride two rides in Kiddie land. It is officially fall!!
Hayden's Halloween costume came in the mail today, and I was worried that he wouldn't want to put it on. Shouldn't have been worried I guess. Spider-man is his favorite guy, and he immediately wanted to put on the costume. Now it is time for bath and bedtime, and he won't take it off! I love it because Wade was spider-man for halloween when he was 3. Just following in his daddy's footsteps I guess.
Since it has been raining so much lately, and I have been a single mom for the last three weeks, I stocked up on play-doh and my kiddo loves it. He will sit at the table a create things for an hour at a time! Fantastic invention and super cheap.
Last Friday, on the boys 7 week birthday, I was finally able to hold them. They are both doing so much better since my last post. They now weigh over 9 lbs collectively! Eli will hopefully be able to come home from the hospital in the next week or two. I think that will encourage his little brother to make great strides as well.
We are getting pretty excited at our house for kick-off next Saturday! Bring on the fall weather and the football. This is by far my favorite time of year!! I can hardly wait to start making my favorite fall food like chicken tortilla soup and a big pot of chilli!
We spent this past weekend at the farm for our annual August Party. Hayden and Harper had so much fun playing in the dirt, chasing bugs, riding on the tractor, and laughing together.
