Harper is here!

Harper Janice Brown was born 1/12/2009 at 1:47 pm and weighs 9lbs 4oz and is 21 inches long!
She is an absolute angel and I can not believe that she is finally here! My brother and his wife Tara are amazing parents already as I knew they would be. It was such a blessing to be able to be with them and the entire family yesterday at the hospital awaiting her arrival. The birth of a child is the number one most spectacular event that there is. I am so happy for them and will post more pics when I get them. I forgot to take my camera to the hospital yesterday which made me sick, but I snapped a few shots with my mom's camera. It just isn't the same not having your own! I was busy packing all of Hayden's toys, food, etc and totally left the camera at home. Anyway, miss Harper and Tara are doing well and will hopefully be able to go home soon. Hayden was a good sport at the hospital and crashed out in one of the chairs in the waiting room during all of the excitement. He is so happy to have a new cousin that is so close to his age! He is already jealous of her full head of dark soft hair! I will hopefully post some more pics of her soon so everyone can see!

Picture from the past!

I am going to adopt this one from Faron and post a picture from the past every once in a while! This is one of my favorite pictures from our wedding. Man she wants a bite out of that cake! Minutes later, she came up to me and said, "Megan please go cut your cake!" I did immediately of course.

8 months already?

Hayden was 8 months old on January 1st. These pictures are on the evening of

his 8 month bday. His favorite new foods are kiwi, mango, and of course cheese.

He has tried chicken, but not any other meats. The crazy Super Baby Food diet

doesn't recommend meat until 1 year of age, so he is getting tofu in his cereal

for protein instead, yummy! He has just started clapping his hands, and

weighs a little over 20 lbs.

Christmas Day!

Our family spent Christmas Day with the Hutcherson family and had so much fun. Our day began with lots of gift opening. Next we had a wonderful mexican dinner, and then played dirty santa where all of the gifts were goodies to eat! Here are some pics.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve morning, our family drove to the farm. We spent Christmas Eve Dinner at my aunt Nancy's house with the whole family. Hayden had so much fun with the wrapping paper of course. He was then so exhausted that he crashed out in his cousin Zade's swing!

A new pony!

Santa came early this year so we

wouldn't have to pack a pony when traveling

to grandma and grandpa's house. It is already

the new favorite toy since Hayden's most favorite activity is bouncing and or jumping.
