Summer is flyin by!!

I haven't posted in a while, so this is going to be a wild mix of photos. These first few pictures are from Wade's trip with the boys to Colorado week before last. Man am I jealous by the way!
They had a great time and beautiful weather. (Photos are courtesy of Faron.)

Here is the gang at our house for the July birthday bash that Wade and I hosted last weekend.

Now, for the finale, here is my little man tearing it up on his new drum and music set. Man I love a good garage sale!!

TRACTOR!

Hayden saying good morning to the cows.

Riding on the tractor for the first time with Pops.

Hayden and I spent part of last week with my parents at the farm while Wade was climbing in Colorado. Hayden got to ride on the tractor for the first time and loved it! He now says "tractor" probably 20 times a day, second only to the word "cookie". His great-grandpa would be so proud!!

mini vacation 2009

The boys are about take off on their annual summer Colorado trip! We made a journey to bass pro this weekend so Wade could get some things for the adventure. This new pack was a birthday present from me and Hayden, and as you can see, Hayden had to try it out for himself. I can't wait until he is old enough to go trekking off into the mountains with his daddy!!

Kitchen renovation

So Wade and I are thinking and talking about buying a new house and there are some things that have to be done before that can happen. The palm trees on the breakfast room wall have got to go. They are hideous! As you can see I have already started trying to tear them down so that I have to finish the job. The kitchen/breakfast room remodel has officially begun!!

Super late Independence Day Post

It was a lot harder this year to take pictures of our 4th of July with a 14 month old running around all over the place. We started out our day riding Belle the horse. Hayden got to spend the night before the 4th with his Grani and Grandad and had a wonderful time. We had a cookout in the evening with the whole Hutcherson family and had so much fun. We got a little rain after that, but went outside to shoot off fireworks anyway! Too much fun!

breakin the rules

This is one of my absolute favorite pics of the past. It is Hay's hand with his great-great-aunt Laura's hand taken on Memorial Weekend 2008. Photo taken by Hayden's aunt Tara by the way. Absolutely beautiful! Anyway, I titled this post breakin the rules because I recently read the Pioneer Woman's rules to a good blog. She says that you can't blog about the same thing all of the time. All I blog about is my son. Do I have other interests? Of course I do. I started this blog, however, to inform friends and family of the goings on of Hayden. She also says that you have to ask a lot of questions to keep people involved and offer a lot of "give aways". She also has a million dollar blog. The only area that my blog passes in was the photo area. She says you have to have a lot of pictures. A lot of words without pictures is boring. There, I totally agree!! Have a happy 4th of July everyone!!

Jazz in June

The Gibsons came down to Norman for Jazz in June on Thursday, and we had a great time. Thursday night was actually "Blues under the Stars" night. As you can see by Hayden's red cheeks, it was a little hot out, but we survived.
